Here are 10 jobs for 14-year-olds to earn some extra money in their spare time:

1) Wash windows

A bucket of warm water with a little vinegar and a squeegee is all it takes to earn money washing windows.

Who has more time to wash windows? I know not!

This is why I happily pay my teenagers to dirty job!

You can charge per window, for example $ 5 per window, or per hour. Money accumulates quickly. Try putting up a local flyer at the grocery store, library, etc.

2) Cleaning the attic or basement

Isn’t it amazing how much stuff can it accumulate? Most of the houses are filled to the rooftops with trash!

Teens can get cash by cleaning up other people’s trash. And some of it can be recycled for even more cash.

Remember, a messy home is a messy mind!

3) Mowing the lawn or shoveling the driveway

This may seem obvious, but I am always AMAZED How many dads I see mowing the lawn … or shoveling the sidewalk, instead of Johnny Junior!

Besides being great exercise, mowing the lawn or shoveling the walk is good money and good exercise for an ambitious 14-year-old.

4) Strange paint jobs

Do you have walls? This is GOOD worth paying!

Many homeowners have a room in their home that they would like to spruce up with a fresh coat of paint. But they don’t have the time or a great deal of cash to pay for a professional painter. But they can pay a teenager $ 50 to $ 75 for a good job.

And if you’re willing to paint ceilings, you can do even more. Just make sure you have enough rags to cover the floor in case of leaks.

5) Pool boy

If you have a pool or jacuzzi, you KNOW what it takes JOB to keep it clean. You can schedule weekly or monthly pool cleanings with your neighbors. Aim for a neighborhood with 3 or 4 pools so you can save time and gas by doing it at the same time.

6) Brush cleaning

My mother-in-law is always looking for strong, reliable teens who want to earn extra money cleaning brush and debris.

My 12-year-old son Matthew just earned $ 20 for a few hours of work!

7) Garden tillage

Every spring and fall, I hire my son Tony to garden. It’s an easy way to earn extra money at home or even in the neighborhood.

8) Bookkeeping

This is not just a great way to earn extra money, but an invaluable and useful skill to learn. I mean, if you’re feeling brave about bills!

9) Landscaping projects or Plant Doctor

Do you have a kind of green thumb? You are reliable?

Both business owners and homeowners need someone to water their indoor plants regularly or when they go on vacation. This is a fun and easy way to earn extra money.

Or if you have a strong back, you can break the shovels and beautify the gardens with a tea rose garden, a raised flower bed, or a small goldfish pond.

10) Artist

Do you have an artistic or talented teenager? Encourage her to publicize her talents and draw, photograph, or sketch portraits to earn extra money at home.

I know of an 18 year old girl who colors horse portraits for extra money.

There are many jobs for 14 year olds to earn money, you just have to be willing and motivated. And do a little brainstorming!
