One question: Could Hitler have won the war?

Hitler lost the war, but much of this was due to his torrent of blood, tainted by racial politics. If he had played his cards skillfully, he might as well have been the winner.

Hitler threw the title “Big” in the trash

We are all aware that the Allies together with Russia won the Second World War. Most people’s minds are conditioned by this historical fact and many do not contemplate that Germany could have won World War II. But a look at the conduct of the war from 1939 to 1945 shows that if Hitler had played his cards more skillfully; could have won the war.

This is now a hypothetical question since the war ended a long time ago and Hitler is dead and missing. Despite this, had Hitler followed other courses of action, he could very well have launched the 1000-year Reich.

The beginning in 1939

On September 3, 1939, when Germany launched the invasion of Poland, the German star was on the rise. A look at Europe at the time shows that Mussolini was allied with Hitler and that Austria and Czechoslovakia were also with Hitler and, by signing a non-aggression pact with Stalin, Hitler had put an end to fears caused by a war on two fronts for Count Schifillion. Therefore, at that time the German position was impregnable.

This was one of Hitler’s best years. He seemed like a cunning leader as, having secured his Russian front, he attacked France and the French capitulated within 40 days. It is one of the great victories of the war and made Hitler the master of Europe. At the time, the United States was neutral and Russia was at bay through cunning diplomatic maneuvering and only the United Kingdom remained.

The first mistake

Hitler planned “Operation Sea Lion” at that time; the invasion of England. But now his mind became twisted and he could not grasp the strategic reality. This was the time not to think about attacking Russia but about annihilating the United Kingdom. With a neutral America, Hitler could have launched an invasion by sea. The grounds may have been high, but once a bridgehead developed, the surrender and conquest of the British Isles was at stake.

The Churchill government could have escaped to Canada, but fighting from the other side of the Atlantic was a mammoth task and Hitler would have been on the way to the first phase of his mission for the 1000-year Reich.

After this conquest of the United Kingdom, all he had to do was capture Malta and Gibraltar. He should have done it himself even if Franco had objected. With Hitler owning Europe and the United Kingdom occupied, the possibility that Franco would have been lukewarm to capture Gibraltar is implausible.

Time to regroup

Hitler missed the Great title as it was time to take STOCK

of the situation. It was time for a well-defined strategic policy. With Western Europe in Hitler’s hands, and the United States and the Soviet Union still neutral, Hitler could have recharged his resources with new weapons with the resources now at his disposal. Now is the time to regroup. Europe’s resources are now available for the war machine, new ships, new submarines, new planes and new weapons can now be developed. There was no danger of any aerial bombardment and all the activities of the German war machine would continue unhindered.

At that point, Hitler and his cohorts may well have concluded that the war was over. Not quite, as the Africa campaign would now have a different color. There would have been no Russian or general winter and mud and mud to face and with the Italians the journey through North Africa would have been much easier.

With the Arabs on Hitler’s side and German forces reaching and capturing the Suez Canal, Hitler would have made Hitler the dominant power in the world. This was the time to declare victory.

Whats Next? The invasion of Russia

There would have been a confrontation between Stalin and Hitler. But with Germany at the head of Europe and from the Mediterranean Sea to the Suez Canal, a battle with Russia would be different. There are no supply lines to Russia through the Arctic and no UK to help. The United States would necessarily be neutral and would not declare war on the United States, although Japan would have attacked that country anyway.

Yes, there would be a cold war between the United States and Germany, but Russia could be defeated.

Last word

If Hitler were a great leader, he would have calculated his course of action, but his impetuousness disappointed him. He allowed emotion to prevail over logic and that is not the hallmark of a great leader. Had Hitler played his cards skillfully, he might as well have been the winner.
