Bleeding to the point of hemorrhage can be an alarming event. Homeopathy, however, has a history of aborting bleeding with unusual speed and without side effects. When in doubt, for internal bleeding, it is often best to start with Aconitum. This is particularly valuable when the person is restless, anxious, and agitated. Certainly shock is a concern, so again, it is important to get the person to an emergency location for care. However, after the bleeding stabilizes, the next remedy to use is Ferr Phos 6x given 4-5 times a day for several days to help the system against anemia.

Arnica is also reputed to treat an internal bleeding problem, so it should be considered for soft tissue bleeding or head injury.
