For as long as I can remember, I have loved cats. I resonate with their purring, I relax when I watch them preen, I laugh when I find them in unexpected places or poses, I take photos when they are particularly ‘cute’, I learn from them how to stretch, nap, run around and how to have fun with what to be. is in front of me cat rock.
Cats are amazing teachers about creativity. Once I decided that I could take the path known as the path of the artist even though I was not an artist, I began to see everything with new eyes. The snow-capped mountains in the distance suddenly offered ideas for a chat, the tail wagging of the visiting pup, an idea for a presentation, and the cat’s way of being a template for how to lead a life in support of my (buried ) creativity.
I spent many years being afraid. I got really good at hiding. I learned to be anonymous. After playing with the concepts I found in Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way, I realized that I don’t have to be a professional to recognize my creativity. Doing more research and discovering SARK’s work in support of the world of creativity, I finally understood that each of us is creative in our own way, no matter how we label ourselves, no matter our career, no matter how we use our free time. .
The energy of creativity is embedded in each one of us; we are connected to it and it is as unique as our fingerprint. wow! How do you respond when you read that sentence?
