Pros: Everyone loves bath salts because they can be used at times when relaxing your muscles is a must, especially after a stressful day. Soaking in a tub of warm water and bath salts is sure to inspire everyone and knowing the salts are there will make them even more grateful. Bath salts are also colorful, so they make beautiful gift items when placed in clear jars.

Cons: Bath salts, necessary or not, are always welcome because they are the kind of gift that can be saved for emergencies and knowing that they are there and not having to run for them is more of an advantage than a disadvantage. Bath salts are usually the most expensive bath product. Another drawback is that they can sometimes clog shower drains if the salt pieces are too large.
