William E. Callahan Jr., the US Magistrate Judge armed with a warrant to the federal marshal to impound the ship in Manitowoc. Callahan, the presiding judge in a court case brought by the Bank of New York, alleging that the owner of the yachts, a company run by Sprewell, has defaulted on a mortgage loan.
