The Manx is a solidly built cat with a compact body. It has a short back with longer hind legs than the front legs. Although they are known to come in sizes, there are actually Manx that have tails of various lengths, including full length. The main characteristic of this breed is its round head with large, round eyes. It has a distinct ear shape that is described as cradle-like when viewed from behind.
