Yes, you read it right. I said NO prospecting. You’re probably thinking, this guy is talking about “pie in the sky.” I mean, new recruits are the lifeline of every network marketing/MLM business and you have to prospect to find them, right? Answer: my friend is on the Internet; that is not necessarily the case.

My training in building a Network Marketing/MLM home-based business offline was under the traditional Network Marketing/MLM philosophy. You know, everyone is a prospect, ask everyone within 3 feet of you if they are interested in an opportunity (until they die or say no lol) and this will ensure lots of success and lots of money.

This “worked”, for ME I guess. I mean I’ve built teams that number in the thousands in the network marketing industry and made money offline prospecting. But wasn’t there supposed to be more? I would go to outdoor concerts, movies, malls, gas stations, church, and events at my daughter’s school, and I was unconsciously on the lookout for new prospects. I had inadvertently become that MLM guy who was always pitching his Network Marketing/MLM home based business opportunity. Without my knowing it, my whole world had become my business and I didn’t even know it. I should have been able to turn off my prospecting and just enjoy myself and the people around me without my home based MLM business coming up. Know?

If you are ambitious and this has happened to you, do not worry, there is help. Knowing is half the battle. Ha ha. Look, the internet can change the face of your Network Marketing / MLM home based business and help you make money without YOU prospecting. But you will still get leads.

Here’s a quick story. I recently went to the Atlanta Jazz Festival with a couple of close friends. One of them is one of my business partners. She has learned how to make money in her home based Network Marketing / MLM business on the Internet. As we soaked in the sunshine and listened to some smooth jazz, I reminded her how good it felt to not be prospecting. Since I began my internet network marketing journey, I and many others on my team have been able to get more qualified leads passively than when we actively prospect them ourselves.
