Many of us in the AdSense business know that in order to increase the earning potential of AdSense, we have to increase that click-through rate.
But how many of you have come across articles or websites that teach you how to increase your AdSense click-through rate, talking about the same thing?
a lot right?
They tell you about blending your ads with the background, using text ads instead of image ads, reducing other advertising distractions, placing ads on top and blah blah blah…
While these tactics are not wrong and could in fact help you increase your AdSense earnings in the long run, however, there is another method that you can implement that will work with great success.
This method simply requires you to implement videos on your web pages.
And yes, I would employ the use of videos in conjunction with your AdSense pages.
In this method, what you need to do is to get good videos of relevant content from youtube.com or video.google.com.
Getting the videos onto your web pages is just a matter of copying and pasting the object codes into your html source.
For example, if you were to get video content from YouTube, you could highlight and copy the embed codes from the “embed” column in the top right corner.
You would then paste the codes into your web pages and voila, you instantly have great content along with rich media videos.
But the real secret doesn’t stop here. You have to do the correct placement for a better click-through rate.
I suggest you modify the width and height of the video border of the codes to match the 250X250 AdSense ads that are placed next to the video.

In the example above, you can see that not only the page provides good content on the topic, but also the corresponding video at the top of the page. Then the AdSense ads residing next to the video are displayed, fittingly complementing the whole theme.
This use of video was known to increase click-through rates by up to 100%.
