Most players enjoy relaxing in World of Warcraft, and making gold shouldn’t be hard work either. If you want easy WoW gold, the Auction House (AH) is a great place to go.

However, there are some important things to know if you want to earn more gold than you spend.

Get help from a plugin

Unless you want to maintain detailed files yourself, which would require a lot of work, you should get the plugin called Auctioneer. You can easily find and install if you use Curse Client.

This add-on is a must-have for all serious World of Warcraft players, and since it’s free, it’s really a no-brainer.

Go get it.

Use AH Alts the Right Way

Have you ever seen characters named something that ends in “bank”? These characters are yelling at other players that they are alternate bank characters and AH characters. You don’t want to do that, if you want to make easy WoW gold.

Give your auction house a real name, and if you can afford it, maybe you should do more than one, so you can post more items on AH under different names.

Never list more than a few rare items

If you come across a cheap supply of minerals or rare pets, don’t re-include them all at once. A lot of one item will tell your fellow players that there are a lot of them and the price really should be cheap.

When you list one at a time, you maintain the impression that the item is rare and can command a much higher price.

You could even set a permanent price yourself. I once bought all the golden draenites I could find, when the price was 5 gold, and put them back up for sale one at a time for 25 gold. Since then, the price of my kingdom has remained at that level.

Buy cheap – Sell cheap

How can you make gold, if you buy cheap and sell cheap? Most people talk about selling high, but the real secret is making it look like a bargain to the buyer as well. So if you find a lot of ore for 5 gold per stack, when the price is normally 50, you should put them back for sale at 25, and people will happily buy them from you. You make a profit and they still do a good business.

Find things below the supplier’s price

People are undermining like crazy. Sometimes they even list their items for sale below the seller’s price. This means you can buy and sell them to a vendor and make WoW gold easily.
